Canada Games Centre

The City of Whitehorse, Yukon was proud to host the Canada Winter Games 2007, from February 24 to March 10, providing 13 sport and cultural related venues for thousands of young athletes and visitors.

The 2007 Games were considered a major competition for young athletes on their way to the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver. Demonstrating their trademark hospitality, the hundreds of volunteers in Whitehorse ensured the games were a success.

The legacy lives on with the Canada Games Centre as the main centre for indoor recreation activities for the City of Whitehorse and surrounding communities.
